          Andrew Taylor Still (August 6, 1828 – December 12, 1917) was the founder of osteopathic medicine.[1] He was also a physician and surgeon,[2][3] author,[4][5] inventor and Kansas territorial and state legislator.[6] He was one of the founders of Baker University,[7] the oldest four-year college in the state of Kansas, and was the founder of the American School of Osteopathy (now A.T.

          Still University), the world's first osteopathic medical school, in Kirksville, Missouri.
