Swiss artist @sandrine_pelletier creates an immersive installation made of laboratory glass, modified and disaggregated.
Sandrine Pelletier is a swiss sculptor born in 1976. For over 20 years, she has been developing a protean body of work, using a wide and free range of techniques.
The artist provoke materials such as wood, glass and metal, giving shape to pieces that range from the minute to monumental
installations.
While decay, metamorphosis of elements and telluric forces are the common thread running through her work, her reflections are always influenced by the ground and the origins of the people she meets, and by the poetry that continually accompanies her.
Always rooted in the contemporary world, Pelletier draws on the expression of raw energy to create works that reveal poetic fragility.
Represented in many public and private collections, her work has been exhibited in international institutions such as the Centre Pompidou in Paris, the Kunsthaus in Zurich and the MACAAL in Marrakesh.
She lives and works between Cairo and Lausanne.
